Fire Alarm Technician Qualifications

• In-depth experience with fire alarm systems, including repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Must hold either S98 or NICE II certifications

Fire Alarm Technician Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, service, and program both new and existing fire alarm systems
• Maintain strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and building occupants
• Troubleshoot and program multi-brand fire alarm systems
• Identify and repair system failures, replacing defective components and using standard electronic tools for diagnostics
• Read and interpret detailed drawings, diagrams, and specifications, as well as follow written and verbal instructions
