Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety is seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair alarm systems including fire and intrusion types. You will test systems, diagnose issues, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with alarm systems, valid driver’s license, and technical certifications. NICET certification is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or training in alarm systems preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as an alarm technician or in a similar role; hands-on in installing and servicing alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test alarm systems (fire, burglar) per company standards and client specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on alarm systems for safety and compliance.
• Diagnose and repair alarm system issues, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients on system upgrades and best practices.
• Complete service reports and maintain detailed logs of installations and service history.
