Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician for the Vancouver, WA area. The role involves installing, testing, and upgrading fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems, including IP network-based systems and radio/cellular dialers.

The ideal candidate holds a low voltage license for OR/WA, with NICET certification preferred. A licensed Electrician may be required for certain tasks. Benefits include vacation, holidays, 401(k), and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Must have IP network-based system experience and strong customer service skills.
• Proficient PC user with ability to work with technical documentation.
• Experience installing and connecting radio and cellular dialers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, program, test, inspect, and upgrade fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems.
• Commission and certify new systems.

Location: Vancouver, WA

Pay: $40+ an hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time — Immediate Opening

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, program, test, inspect, and upgrade fire alarm and low-voltage life safety systems
• Commission and certify new systems
• Work on IP network-based systems
• Install and connect radio and cellular dialers
• Work alongside a Licensed Electrician to complete work outside of your position

What You Need to Have:

• Low voltage license in Oregon and Washington
• Proficiency using a PC
