Job summary

State Fire is seeking qualified Fire Alarm Technicians to support existing and upcoming low voltage construction and service projects in Boise, ID and surrounding areas. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of safety, service, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NICET certification or higher is preferred or required.
• Idaho Limited Energy License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 2+ years of low voltage field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficiency with trade-specific tools and equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and service of fire alarm systems.
• Respond to and assess emergency service or warranty calls.
• Maintain daily safety paperwork, including Field Level Risk Assessments and job site inspections.
• Lead or collaborate with subcontractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain relationships with Project Managers, Property Managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Travel to other states as workload requires.
• Ensure clean, safe, and productive work environments on all job sites.
