Job summary

SoarElite in American Falls, Idaho is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. You will install, service, inspect, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers across the region.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience, NICET Level I or higher, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required, with occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience.
• NICET Level I or higher.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and wiring schematics.
• Perform testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Travel throughout the service area with occasional overnight stays as required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely project completion.
