Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to inspect and maintain hospital fire alarm systems, performing required testing and documentation to ensure life safety and regulatory compliance.

You will join a team of experienced technicians, navigate a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, and pursue NICET certification with support from the organization. A high school diploma or GED is required, with NICET II targeted within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience with fire detection and signaling systems.
• NICET Level I minimum; Level II within 90 days of hire.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED,required.
• Experience: 1 year experience working with fire detection and signaling systems,required. Healthcare experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) level I minimum,required. National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) level IIrequiredwithin90 daysof hire,required.
