W3Global in South Florida is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to repair and service fire alarm systems on-site and ensure code-compliant operation of buildings. You will diagnose issues, fix faults, and work on various panel brands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a service technician in fire protection.
• Experience or certification with major panel brands listed.
• Strong knowledge of building and fire codes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Repair fire alarm systems and service issues on-site.
• Service and replace devices (pull stations, horns, strobes, detectors, panels).
• Diagnose equipment and troubleshoot faults.
• Participate in on-call rotation with overtime pay for on-call time.
• Fire alarm programming experience is a plus.

Fire Alarm Service Technician | South Florida

Location: South Florida | On the road (service calls)

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour, plus overtime pay for on-call weeks

Job type: Full-time | 40 hours per week

About The Role

We're a locally owned fire alarm company in South Florida, and we're hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to repair and service fire alarm systems on-site. You'll diagnose problems, fix them, and keep local buildings safe and code-compliant.

If you like hands-on work, solving problems in the field, and working on well-known panel brands, this is a strong fit.

What You'll Do

• Repair fire alarm systems and handle service issues on-site
• Service and replace fire alarm devices, including pull stations, horns, strobes, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and panels
• Evaluate and diagnose equipment that needs servicing, and troubleshoot problems
• Take part in an on-call rotation with other technicians, one week at a time, with overtime pay for on-call time
• Fire alarm programming experience is a plus

What You Bring

Required

• 5+ years of experience as a service technician in the fire protection industry
• Experience or certification with some of these systems: Edwards EST, Silent Knight, Simplex, Notifier, FCI, and Fire-Lite
• Strong knowledge of building and fire codes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment and tools and to climb ladders
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred

• FASA/BASA certification
• Fire alarm programming experience
