Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with full lifecycle installation of fire alarm devices.
• Hold industry certifications such as NICET, Fire-lite, Honeywell, and others.
• Ability to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
• Apply proper fire stopping procedures as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for several contract-to-perm opportunities. Candidates will assist with the installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of all aspects of low voltage fire alarm systems. We are looking for individuals who pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have 5+ years of experience with full lifecycle installation of various Fire Alarm devices and systems related to fire safety.
• Preferably have experience in retail environments.
• Hold industry certifications such as NICET, Fire-lite, Honeywell, Tyco, Notifier, or similar.
• Be able to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables.
• Apply proper fire stopping procedures when necessary.
• Possess working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) related to fire safety systems.
• Experience with CCTV, Voice, and Data cabling is a plus.

Must possess:

• A valid driver’s license.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent (Vocational/Technical/Business School preferred).
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
