Job summary

Rex Moore is seeking a Systems Technician to install and repair low voltage electrical systems on active commercial job sites, maintaining strict adherence to national, state, and local codes. The role requires practical skills, dependable attendance, and the ability to work on site in varied conditions.

The core duties include programming, commissioning and start-up of Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Surveillance systems; installation and testing of low voltage devices; supervising

Qualifications

• Experience installing and testing low voltage systems such as fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance.
• Ability to supervise, train, and coordinate subcontractors and helpers on job sites.
• Current Fire Life Safety card and related certifications preferred (ACE/NICET/EST).

Responsibilities

• Program, commission and start-up low voltage systems including Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Surveillance.
• Install and test low voltage devices, wiring and rough-in.
• Supervise, direct and train helpers, install techs or electricians on site.
• Attend foreman meetings and ensure inspections with customers and Fire Marshal are completed.
