Job summary

Rex Moore Group, Inc in Reno, NV is seeking a Systems Technician to install and repair low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA and local codes. You will program, commission and start‑up fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance systems, install devices, and supervise helpers on active job sites.

Responsibilities include testing, collaboration with the Fire Marshal, and hands‑on troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Holds current Fire Life Safety card.
• Demonstrates proficiency in fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance.
• Excellent communication with managers, customers and contractors.
• Willingness to train others and work on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and test low voltage devices and perform rough‑in work.
• Program, commission and start‑up of fire alarm, security, access control and surveillance systems.
• Supervise helpers and train installers; attend foreman meetings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose installation and programming issues; ensure inspections are scheduled.
