Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and service of fire alarm systems (a lot of Notifier and Siemens panels)
• Perform installations and programming of new fire alarm systems
• Test and troubleshoot fire alarm systems to ensure functionality
• Repair and maintain existing fire alarm systems
• Work closely with clients to identify their fire protection needs
• Ensure compliance with local codes and NFPA standards
• Document and report on all service and inspection activities
• Coordinate with construction teams and other technicians as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred
• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or Inspector
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and equipment
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards
• NICET certification in fire alarm systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
