Job summary

Specialized Fire & Security, Inc. is seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Technician to provide field support and service to customers. The role includes installations, commissioning, testing, and on-going training for customer personnel, with opportunities for advancement.

You will coordinate with contractors, perform system commissioning, diagnose issues, and support on-call emergencies. New hires start with PTO and other available benefits as detailed by the company.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting fire alarm systems and network hardware/software issues.
• On-site installation and repair of fire alarm systems.
• System commissioning and loading software programs for installs.
• Maintenance testing and inspection under service contracts.
• Identify code/conformance issues and recommend fixes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors during installation of fire alarm systems.

• Identify code and non-conformance issues and advise on solutions.
• Prepare detailed daily reports on activities and materials.
• Support on-call emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Support 2nd & 3rd shift work.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical field support and service to our customers. The Fire Alarm Technician Is Responsible For The Following

• Coordinate with contractors in the process of installation of fire alarm systems sold by our company
• Perform system commissioning on fire alarm systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary
• Conduct testing and inspect fire alarm systems under maintenance agreements
• Troubleshoot and repair network hardware and software issues
• Identify code and non-conformance issues
• Makes recommendations regarding both systems installations and service contract facilities
• Generate detailed daily reports, using Company software, on activities completed, deferred and those requiring further action or material
• Support emergency on-call assignments based on rotational schedule
• Support 2nd & 3rd shift work

Compensation details:

24-40 Hourly Wage
