Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet safety codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of fire alarm technology and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems according to specifications and local codes
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire alarm components
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to provide comprehensive fire safety solutions
  • Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of their fire alarm systems

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
  • 5+ years Fire Alarm Technician experience
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, building automation
  • Experience with programming
  • NICET certification (preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
