Job summary

Firetrol is seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to join our industrial division. You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems, and service, repair, and install equipment for industrial customers.

You will interact with customers, contractors and vendors professionally, with 2–3 years of experience in inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm systems. Regional travel in the Northwest Florida Panhandle is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience or training in inspection, installation, maintenance, programming, and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Experience with various fire alarm systems (Notifier, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, etc.).
• Able to work for industrial customers/projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot systems requiring service.
• Install, service, repair and maintain fire alarm equipment.
• Interact professionally with customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Serve Northwest Florida Panhandle region.

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians for our industrial division to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.

• Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise.

• Installation of fire alarm equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.

• 2 to 3 years work experience, training or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.

• Experience or training with a variety of fire alarm systems (Notifier, Fire-lite, Silent Knight, etc.)

• This position is for industrial customers/projects.

This position will service our customer base in the Northwest Florida Panhandle, from Pensacola to Tallahassee and along the Emerald Coast including Panama City to Gulf Breeze.

Requirements

• Must possess or be willing to obtain any other applicable state licenses.

• Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care.

• Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
