Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians for our industrial division to join a team of professionals. The role focuses on servicing industrial fire alarm systems across the Northwest Florida Panhandle, Pensacola to Tallahassee and Emerald Coast areas.

The position involves inspections, testing, installation, and ongoing maintenance, with a strong emphasis on customer interaction and professional service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience or training in inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm/detection systems.
• Experience or training with Notifier, Fire-lite, Silent Knight, etc.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain required state licenses.
• Ability to pass Government, Federal and Customs background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose and evaluate systems requiring servicing and troubleshoot issues.
• Installation of fire alarm equipment and service/repair of fire alarm systems.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and employees in a professional manner.

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise.
• Installation of fire alarm equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner.
• 2 to 3 years work experience, training or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, programming and repair of fire alarm and detection systems.
• Experience or training with a variety of fire alarm systems (Notifier, Fire-lite, Silent Knight, etc.)
• This position is for industrial customers/projects.

This position will service our customer base in the Northwest Florida Panhandle, from Pensacola to Tallahassee and along the Emerald Coast including Panama City to Gulf Breeze.

Requirements

• Must possess or be willing to obtain any other applicable state licenses.
• Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care.
• Must be able to satisfy Government, Federal and Customs background check requirements.
