Job summary

Impact Fire Services in Arlington, Texas is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, and inspect fire alarm systems with a focus on safety and compliance. You will report to the Fire Alarm Manager and help meet weekly productivity goals while upholding our standards.

This role requires a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL), installation experience, on-call rotation, and a professional, customer-focused approach; training and mentorship are provided to grow with our fast-growing team.

Qualifications

  • Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
  • Fire Alarm installation experience required.
  • Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
  • Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
  • Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees

Responsibilities

  • Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
  • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized

Install fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Position is located out of our Arlington, Texas district office.
Job Summary

This position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager and will be responsible for providing installations on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
