Job summary

Impact Fire Services in Arlington, Texas is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect and service fire alarm systems from our local district office. The role emphasizes timely, high-quality work and meeting weekly productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Fire Alarm installation experience required.
• Licensing and certification as per National, State and Local codes.
• Ability to learn installation, inspection and servicing codes.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Ability to mentor and pass knowledge to trainees.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager and will be responsible for providing installations on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage their time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.

Job Requirements

• Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required.
• Fire Alarm installation experience required.
• Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
• Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation.
• A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
• Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
• Ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.
• Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
