Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with a Top-Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. This position is for a future new business opportunity.

Kadiak, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with a Top-Secret clearance in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL, to act as the primary contact between our office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The Fire Alarm Technician will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well-organized, design-oriented, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities:

1. The Fire Alarm Technician shall be minimum NICET Level II certified, manufacturer trained, and experienced in the most current NFPA codes and UFC standards regarding inspection, testing, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Transmitter Panels, receiver and repeater (Kingfisher), and Wet and Dry Fire Suppression Systems.
2. The Fire Alarm Technician shall meet the service qualification requirements in the most current edition of NFPA 25 and 72 and hold at least NICET Level 2 or higher (Associate Engineering Technician).
3. The Fire Alarm Technician shall have experience in the past two years with buildings and equipment comparable to those covered by this contract.
4. The Fire Alarm Technician shall be factory trained NICET Level II and currently certified for the operating system, including software version, of the particular fire alarm system, and shall provide documentation of this certification to the Program Manager, Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Marine Corps Fire Inspector.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• NICET Level II or higher certification.
• Relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility in programs of similar size, scope, and complexity, including Central Utility Plant operations.
• Top Secret security clearance.
