Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with a Top-Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Kadiak, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with a Top-Secret Clearance in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL to act as the primary contact between our office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The Fire Alarm Technician will have essential multi-discipline team representation, be self-motivated, well-organized, design-oriented, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities
  • The Fire Alarm Technician shall be minimum NICET Level II Certified, trained and experienced in the current NFPA Codes and UFC Standards regarding inspection, testing, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Transmitter Panels, receiver and repeater (Kingfisher), and Wet and Dry Fire Suppression Systems.
  • The Fire Alarm Technician shall meet service qualification requirements in NFPA’s 25 and 72, holding at least NICET Level 2 or higher (Associate Engineering Technician).
  • The Fire Alarm Technician shall have relevant experience in buildings and equipment comparable to those covered by this contract within the past two years.
  • The Fire Alarm Technician shall be factory trained NICET Level II certified for the operating system, including software version, of the specific fire alarm system, and shall provide documentation to the Program Manager, Contracting Officer, and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Marine Corp Fire Inspector.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field.
  • NICET Level II or higher.
  • Relevant experience at a comparable responsibility level in programs of similar size, scope, and complexity, including Central Utility Plant operations.
  • Top Secret security clearance.
