Job summary

Century Fire Protection Marianna, FL seeks an experienced fire alarm technician to install, retrofit, test, service, inspect and repair systems. You will perform on-site troubleshooting, document work orders, and ensure code compliance. 5+ years of electrical construction and Notifier experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree and 5+ years of experience in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 72; experience with Notifier systems; NICET I or II preferred.
• Wiring and conduit installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission newly installed fire alarm systems.
• Layout, assemble and install low voltage equipment for fire alarm systems.
• Test all features and equipment for optimum functioning.
• Perform inspections and diagnose problems.
• Read, understand and follow product manuals; educate customers.
• Write and submit customer status and completion reports.
• Oversee and direct helpers and/or installers.
