Job summary

Siemens Norcross, GA location is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to support installation, programming, start-up, and commissioning of advanced fire alarm equipment. You will interact with customers to ensure safety and compliance across buildings in the greater Atlanta area.

The role requires electro-mechanical experience, ability to differentiate wire types, and commitment to obtaining NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 18 months.

Qualifications

Electro-mechanical experience or education in relevant field.
Willing and able to differentiate wire colors and handle tools and equipment.
Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 1 within 18 months.

Responsibilities

Assist with commissioning of new fire alarm systems on construction sites.
Assist with testing and inspecting existing fire alarm systems.
Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician and Team Leader; complete commissioning within timelines.
