Job summary

Siemens, a global technology leader, seeks a Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, start-up, and commission state-of-the-art fire alarm equipment in the Albuquerque, NM branch serving the El Paso/Las Cruces area. You will interact with customers, train on operations, and deliver required documentation.

Required 1+ year experience, NICET I or higher, and a valid US driver’s license. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling with contractors, and compliance with AHJ standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Ability to differentiate wire types/colors and use hand tools, laptop, email, and tablet.
• NICET I Fire Alarm Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid US driver’s license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens fleet program.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, and commission fire alarm equipment and systems.
• Assist customer training and provide system documentation and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate site communication and scheduling with trade contractors; uphold safety policies.
