Job Title: Fire Alarm System Inspector

Salary: Hourly-Full-Time-$19.00-$27.00

Job Summary: As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for the completion of service requests at various locations throughout your given territory. You will ensure jobs are completed to satisfaction while maintaining courteous and professional service to all customers. The technician must be dependable, self-starting, and possess a “Can Do” attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities
  1. Basic Technical Ability
  • Knowledgeable in the use of basic hand tools to operate mechanical and/or electrical devices.
  • You will use email, text, and call management software to help perform the job.
  • Responsible for following procedures to verify work completed, ensuring all paperwork is completed, and all job requirements are met.
  • Create routes, maps, and communicate job requirements for technicians.
  • On-the-job and/or classroom training will be provided.
  • Full-Time Position
    • Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly available.
    • Responsible for meeting service calls in an efficient manner.
    • Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support and assist customers in need.
    • Ability to use geographical maps, Google Maps, and read/understand maps to schedule effectively.
  • Customer Service Oriented
    • Responsible for answering and managing incoming calls with customers and office staff.
    • Accurately keep thorough documentation of service calls.
    • Other duties as needed.
    Job Qualifications & Requirements
    • NICET Level I or II a plus.
    • Basic skills in computers/tablets are necessary.
    • Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills.
    • Must be able to work M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and be flexible, willing to be placed on an “On-Call” rotation for after-hours support when needed.
    • Ability to handle pressure, various tasks assigned, and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder up to 8-ft.
    • Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background a plus.
    • Travel: 100% of the time; travel expense reimbursement.
