Qualifications

• Experience in designing fire alarm systems meeting NFPA codes.
• Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and develop layouts.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design systems in accordance with NFPA and project specifications.
• Develop floor plans, riser diagrams, and system power calculations.
• Review all designs for accuracy before submission.
• Assist in developing quality service programs for the design department.

Skills

3+ years of experience in sprinkler design

Proficient in design software (HydroCAD or AutoSprink)

Understanding of fire sprinkler system types

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, 25)

Ability to interpret project plans and specifications
