• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No minimum experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record if driving role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of security systems (intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV).
• Support installation and testing of new and existing security system components.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
• Help perform system inspections and basic functional testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, materials used, and job site conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures and applicable codes and standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper condition.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Fire Alarm Support Technician is an entry-level role responsible for assisting with the installation, service, inspection, and maintenance of security and low-voltage systems including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance (CCTV). This role supports senior technicians and field teams while learning company standards, safety procedures, system functionality, and customer service expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
• Support installation and testing of new and existing security system components
• Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
• Help perform system inspections and basic functional testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, materials used, and job site conditions.
• Follow all company safety procedures, customer site requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and proper working condition.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Travel to job sites as required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
