Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an experienced project coordinator/manager to oversee alarm system installation and service projects. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, hire and supervise field crews, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure on-time project completion while maintaining profitability.

The role requires strong organization, scheduling discipline, and ability to liaise with general contractors, AHJ, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
• NICET II or III certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required for reporting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update weekly, 3-month, and 6-month schedules with milestones and test dates.
• Hire and supervise field crews; coordinate labor hours and costs.
• Coordinate material deliveries and manage installation equipment.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and coordinate test dates.
• Represent the company in meetings with general contractor, AHJ, and regulators.
• Manage multiple projects and respond to changing conditions to meet schedules.
• Attend kickoff meetings and collaborate with PM/design teams on change orders.
• Maintain truck tool inventories.

Provides guidance and resolves installation and service conflicts to maintain installation and service schedules, productivity, and profitability.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop and update weekly, 3-month, and 6-month job schedules, tracking project schedules, including start date, end dates, test dates, and all other milestones.Hire and supervise field crews and coordinate schedules, managing labor hours and costs.Coordinate material deliveries, delivery and pick up of installation equipment, and monitor all job-related costs.Conduct site visits and coordinate inspections and test dates.Represent the company in meetings with general contractor, owner, property manager, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory agencies for project schedules, test dates, progress reports, change orders, or other information.Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules.Attend project kick off meetings and work closely with Project Manager and design team on project specifications, billings, and change orders.Complete and maintain truck tool inventories.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
