Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Designer to join our culture. You will design, engineer and document medium to large solutions with moderate to high complexity, mentoring drafters and aligning with project scope.

You’ll work closely with project management and sales to ensure accurate drawings, meet budgets and schedules, and provide excellent customer service while advancing your career within Convergint's global, service-based culture.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with Edwards EST Fire Alarm Systems.
• Certifications: Revit or EST preferred.
• NICET II or III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities to scope and estimate cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure engineering deliverables reflect project scope; mentor drafters on the team.
• Monitor resources to stay within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management on scope changes.
