Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Fire Alarm Project Designer in Chantilly, VA to design, engineer and document medium to large fire alarm solutions with growing responsibilities. You will guide drafters, align with project scope, and support pre-sales with accurate cost estimates.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience designing enterprise-level fire alarm systems.
• Must have AutoCAD or FireCAD experience.
• NICET III or NICET IV certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and document medium to large fire alarm solutions per project requirements.
• Guide and mentor drafters to ensure accurate engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Management to ensure scope and budget alignment.
