Job summary

Integrity Fire Safety Services in Basalt, Colorado is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.

You will work to ensure compliance with NFPA codes and manufacturer specifications while delivering high-quality customer service in a safety-conscious environment. The role involves fieldwork, on‑call rotations, and travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or fire alarm systems preferred.
• 2+ years of fire alarm service, installation, or maintenance experience.
• NICET Level I or higher in Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30 safety certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Diagnose and repair system issues including control panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and wiring.
• Conduct functional tests of all devices and system components to ensure operational readiness.
• Upgrade and replace outdated components as needed.
• Respond to emergency service calls for system malfunctions; isolate problems and implement corrective actions.
