# Fire Alarm Service Technician IChesapeake Sprinkler Odenton - Odenton, MD 21113## OverviewSalary Range$25.00 - $35.00 HourlyPosition TypeFull TimeTravel PercentageUp to 25%## Fire Alarm Technician**Div. 134 - Odenton, MD****Summary**Responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems. This role ensures systems operate properly and comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. The technician works independently in the field, providing high-quality service while maintaining strong customer relationships.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on fire alarm and life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards and applicable local codes.* Diagnose system issues, identify malfunctions, and complete timely and accurate repairs.* Program, configure, and verify fire alarm control panels and related devices. Complete detailed service reports, inspection documentation, and compliance forms.* Maintain accurate records of system work, deficiencies, and corrective actions. Communicate effectively with customers regarding system status, required repairs, and code compliance.* Coordinate with project managers, service coordinators, and inspectors as needed.
