Based in Paducah, KY, this full-time position offers a 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule, local travel, on-call rotations, and growth through leadership development.

A Fire Alarm Service Technician performs installation, routine servicing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm and security systems. All functions must be performed accurately and within time constraints, adhering to safety and health rules and regulations. Demonstrating safe work practices while performing the following functions is mandatory.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works while standing, kneeling, bending, stooping and walking significant distances. Works from ladders and lifts or at heights above 8 feet. Occasionally works in conditions of extreme cold and extreme heat. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. Occasionally works in confined spaces, including attics and crawl spaces. The noise level is moderate but can fluctuate depending on progress of construction. Personal protective equipment must be worn.

The position lifts objects (50 lbs) unassisted, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls and carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
This is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The position is subject to on-call rotation and occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.
2 years applicable field experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience includes installation, service and testing of commercial/industrial fire alarm systems and security systems.
High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
The position drives a company vehicle and must possess the appropriate licenses.

This role will be based out of our Paducah, KYoffice. The pay range is $25/hr - $35/hr, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
