Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a skilled fire alarm installer/technician for on-site projects in Greenwood, SC. Responsibilities include programming and commissioning systems, wiring and installing low voltage components, and ensuring all features function correctly.

The ideal candidate has an associate/technical degree with 5+ years of electrical construction experience, NEC/NFPA 72 knowledge, and experience with Notifier/NICET I or II preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree and 5+ years of experience in electrical construction including wiring and conduit installation.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 72 is required or preferred.
• Experience with Notifier and NICET I or II is preferred.

Responsibilities

Division 7 Greenwood, SCSummaryResponsible for fire alarm installations, retrofits, and tenant build-outs, testing, servicing, inspection and repair; performing on-site emergency troubleshooting programming, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
