Job summary

JARBO is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm / Security Systems Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, program, and test commercial fire alarm and electronic security systems across local and regional sites.

The role involves hands-on work with fire alarm, access control, intrusion, IP video/CCTV, and low-voltage systems, with about 20-30% travel. Most shifts are daytime, with occasional nights or off-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience in fire alarm or security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• NFPA 70 / NFPA 72 knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and test fire alarm and IP video systems.
• Program fire alarm control panels and devices.
• Coordinate with project managers and maintain documentation.
• Work at heights up to 60 feet and use lifts.
