Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking experienced Fire Alarm/Intrusion/Burglar Installation Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial locations nationwide. The role requires travel, hands-on problem solving, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

Proven field installation experience in fire alarm and/or intrusion.
Valid state license in physical security or life safety.
Knowledge of NFPA 70/72 standards.
Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
Ability to travel 2–6 weeks at a time and work nights/on-call.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems.
Run low-voltage cabling in commercial spaces.
Install support structures and conduct tests.
Ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
Maintain accurate records and safety compliance.
Collaborate on pre-install design and planning.
