**What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"**
- Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program by referring top talent.
- Install, program, test, repair, and service systems including security, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation, ensuring customer satisfaction. Refer complex issues to higher-level colleagues.
- Use blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures.
- Interpret manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams; repair equipment using electronics knowledge and test instruments.
- Understand building, mechanical, sprinkler, and fire systems.
- Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Consult with engineering to resolve system issues.
- Advise management on customer satisfaction, product performance, and installation standards.
- Manage technical aspects of projects including programming, start-up, testing, training, documentation, and support.
- Identify project risks and assist in mitigation strategies.
- Work with Fire Alarm Designer to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with Project and Operations Managers to ensure project success and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**What You'll Need**
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to learn technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security.
- Self-starter with good work ethic.
- Understanding of electronics, Ohm’s law, resistor color code, relay logic.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand and power tools.
- Experience with programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning Edwards or similar fire alarm systems.
- Drive to obtain necessary certifications/licensing.
- Willingness to travel locally; minimal overnight travel.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Possess NICET Level II in Fire Alarm and low voltage electrical license as required.

**Requirements**
- High School/GED or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years relevant experience.
- TX Fire Alarm Installer License.
- NICET Certification (preferred).
- EST Certification (preferred).
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field (preferred).
