Job Title: Fire Alarm Maintenance Trades Helper

This position involves assisting Fire Alarm Systems Maintenance Technicians in performing inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. The role includes using hand and powered tools, handling materials, cleaning work areas, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow verbal and written instructions.
2. Perform physical tasks, including carrying and moving equipment up to 70 lbs.
3. Work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders and working in high or confined spaces.
4. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
5. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
6. Maintain strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
7. Possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma and two years of related work experience.
2. Ability to obtain and maintain military base access.
3. Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills: Fire alarm, suppression, detection systems, and fire sprinkler systems.

Certification: Must complete NICET Level I certification within 1 year of hire.

Security Clearance: None required.
