Job summary

Impact Fire Services in Colorado is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install and service fire alarm systems, leading a FA crew and coordinating with PM and GC. You will learn applicable codes and work toward state licensing, ensuring safety and quality in every job.

Based in Vail/Eagle, Colorado, this role offers extensive hands-on training, company-paid benefits, and opportunities to grow within a fast‑growing national fire protection leader.

Qualifications

• Fire alarm installation and service experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• NICET Level II certification in fire alarm required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Service and installation of fire alarm systems.
• Lead FA crew and direct daily work.
• Coordinate with Project Management and GC.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Material management and shortages communication.
• Conduit installation and layout.
• Maintain daily reports to PM.
• Coordinate with AHJ for final inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.

The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for providing installation and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.

Position is located in Vail/Eagle, Colorado.

Job Responsibilities

• Service and Installation of fire alarm systems.
• Crew leadership: lead and direct FA crew in daily work, assign duties ensure quality of work
• Coordination with Project Management and GC
• Installation of fire alarm systems.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
• Material management- communicate material needs and identification of shortages to PM
• Conduit- Perform conduit installation and layout
• Documentation: Maintain daily reports to PM
• Final Inspections and coordination with AHJ
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.

Job Qualifications

• Fire Alarm installation and service experience
• Experience with Seimens systems is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints
• NICET Level II certification in fire alarm
• Certification operating scissor lifts
• Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
• Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
