Job Description

As a Fire Alarm Inspector III, you will conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventive maintenance on electrical, sprinkler, or fire suppression systems, as well as similar products from other manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Work with low voltage wiring and devices for system operation
  • Complete service acknowledgments with proper coding via communication devices
  • Follow structured inspection schedules
  • Input and archive inspection documents electronically
  • Perform minor repairs and programming adjustments
  • Provide technical training to junior inspectors and trainees
  • Complete inspections timely and accurately
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Fire alarm license and ability to obtain necessary licenses per codes
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler services
  • Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
  • Proficiency with hand tools and multimeters
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in challenging positions and environments
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adhere to safety guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background and drug tests
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
