Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to inspect and maintain fire alarm systems across Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. You will review layouts, produce surveys and logs, and ensure code compliance while coordinating with sales and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in inspector roles, NICET I, NFPA/IFC knowledge, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NICET Level I is preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and IFC or state fire codes is expected.
• Ability to read technical drawings/diagrams and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments for testing and inspection.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure code compliance.
• Prepare detailed inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via technical devices.
• Oversee project inventory and vehicle inventory.
• Manage scheduling and progress with focus on quality and cost efficiency.
