Role Overview

The Inspector is responsible for completing service requests at various locations throughout a given territory. Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure that they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems. Perform basic sprinkler inspection service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Run tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
2. Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response to testing
3. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
4. Develop and complete NFPA testing documents for clients
5. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs
6. Advise customers of test and inspection results
7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly
4. Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Work Requirements:

1. Ability to walk great distances and climb multi-story stairs
2. Basic use of hand and power tools to replace devices
