Job summary

Protouch Staffing in Madison, WI is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform inspections on fire alarm systems, clean agent and CO2 suppression systems, and electronic life safety equipment. You will document activities and follow schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

You will train junior inspectors and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors while supporting additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and inspections preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fire and electrical codes.
  • Ability to obtain required state license for security work.
  • Ability to obtain NICET certification within required timeframe.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Pre-employment background and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned.

  • Must successfully complete required pre-employment background and drug testing.
