Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin is seeking skilled field technicians to perform on-site fire and security system inspections and preventive maintenance. The role requires a valid driver''s license, ability to obtain required licenses, and willingness to travel to client sites.

You will conduct tests, document results, and coordinate with clients and the Central Monitoring Station. Starting pay is based on experience, and employees receive tool allowance, a company vehicle and cell phone,

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license and pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Must be able to travel, as needed.
• Must have mathematical skills including calculations of interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume, and basic algebra/geometric concepts.
• Must have knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation of alarm systems and devices.
• Values important to Per Mar Security: Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service and Accountability.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar''s Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance services on client fire alarm systems
• Test and verify that all systems and devices (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) function properly and in accordance to manufacturer's specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor specific to the operation of daily business functions.
