Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Alarm Inspector to join our fire business unit.


Position Responsibilities and Duties



  • Provide the inspection and testing of fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes

  • Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations

  • Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site

  • Interact professionally with customers

  • Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules

  • Communicate inspection status, changes or problems to supervisor or manager

  • Work overtime when needed

  • Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role

  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures

  • Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment


Basic Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record


Preferred Qualifications



  • Additional experience in other areas of the industry

  • Experience with various manufacturers. I.E., Notifier, Fire-Lite, Potter, Silent Knight, EST, etc.

  • NICET II certification

  • 3+ year's experience of performing fire alarm inspections, basic service and maintenance of fire alarm systems

  • Massachusetts Class D Technician's license



Salary: $22-32 an hour depending on experience.
