Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Inspection Technician in Colorado to test and inspect fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings, ensuring safety and quality. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and collaboration with building owners and engineers throughout the testing process.

You will monitor panels, report deficiencies, and help drive safe, reliable fire-safety outcomes while adhering to company policies and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of field service or customer service experience.
• Preferred experience in electronics, fire alarm, life safety, and/or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
• Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
• Interact with building owner or building engineer before, during, and after testing.
• Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested or required.
