This is a great opportunity touse your education while playing a key role in various fire suppression system projects. As an Intern, you will exercise your attention to detail while designing the layout of fire alarm systems and special hazards fire protection systems using AutoCAD-based software. Additional responsibilities include computer-generated hydraulic calculations, submittal drawings to obtain required building permits, 3D BIM coordination using NavisWorks, project scheduling, on‑site field surveys, material stock listing for pre‑fabrication, installation drawings, and preparing close‑out and project operation and maintenance documents.
Prior experience working in AutoCADand strong math and analytical skills is preferred. Candidates should be in good academic standing. Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful.
