Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2018 or newer.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Capable of meeting deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication with internal customers.
• Knowledge of fire alarm and security system principles is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical schematics.
• Experience with REVIT/BIM.
• NICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD drafting and design support for the design department.
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for fire alarm system installations.
• Collaborate with a designer to develop CAD drawings from project requirements.
• Create floor plans, calculations, details, and other diagrams.
• Support internal customers by addressing questions and requests.
• Interact with team to meet goals and solve problems.
• Follow department processes and complete administrative tasks.
