Job summary

Purvis Systems is a technology solutions partner delivering mission-critical solutions for government clients. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing the Fire Station Alerting System, including audio amplification, signal flow, and associated hardware/software.

You will work independently and with a team to resolve issues, conduct system checkouts, and support customers from installation through deployment, with on-call duties and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting audio systems in field deployments.
• Strong IT support background with Windows 7/10 and basic network protocols.
• Ability to manage tickets and communicate effectively with customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier1 troubleshooting for audio distribution systems and related hardware.
• Perform system checks and device setups for customer-ready handoff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot peripherals (printers, UPSs, relay cards, etc.).
• Support on-site customer testing and cutovers.
• On-call support on rotating basis, including after-hours/weekends.
• Document issues and contribute to knowledge base.
