Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Support Technician for Test & Inspect to assist licensed technicians in inspection, testing, and documentation of fire alarm systems under direct supervision.

The role emphasizes learning fire alarm codes and testing procedures, maintaining accurate records, traveling to job sites, and adhering to NFPA guidelines and company safety policies. High school diploma preferred; driving record must be clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior fire alarm or industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn inspection and testing procedures in the fire protection industry.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Clean driving record and active driver''s license if driving role.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with scheduled inspections and testing of fire alarm systems.
• Support testing activities such as device activation, alarm verification, and system checks under supervision.
• Document inspection and testing results per company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and report deficiencies or irregularities to supervising technicians.
• Assist with preparation of tools, materials, and documentation for inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of inspection forms and reports.
• Follow safety procedures, NFPA guidelines, and company policies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
