Job summary
Impact Fire Services is hiring a trainee to learn fire alarm system installation, testing, and preventative maintenance under close supervision. You will assist with inspections, diagnosis, and troubleshooting while gaining hands-on experience and licensing guidance.
As a full-time apprentice, you will work with a team of professionals, supporting the nightly and weekly service cycles, and you will have opportunities to advance through apprenticeship programs in fire sprinkler, fire alarm and
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or similar field with electrical skills is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal work instructions and directions.
- Capable of working independently and with moderate supervision.
- Teamwork under pressure to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine inspections, testing and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under supervision.
- Support diagnosis and evaluation of systems requiring servicing and troubleshooting.
- Assist with installation and testing of fire alarm systems under guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician.
- Receive day-to-day guidance from the Fire Alarm Technician.
