Job summary

Ampcus Inc in Manhattan, NY, is seeking an experienced Fircosoft Implementation Consultant to lead the delivery of a payment screening solution built on Fircosoft. You will drive configuration, testing, data quality, and governance to support regulatory reviews.

The role requires onsite presence four days a week and deep expertise in sanctions screening, SWIFT MT/ISO 20022, and messaging standards within large financial institutions.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in Financial Crime Compliance technology within large financial institutions.
• Hands-on Fircosoft implementation, upgrade, configuration or tuning experience.
• Strong expertise with Fircosoft Continuity, Filtering (SIP/SAM), Firco Trust, and Case Management.
• Deep understanding of payment sanctions screening and related messaging.
• Experience with OFAC, UN, EU, and HMT lists.
• Experience supporting regulatory audits or model validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration and optimization of Fircosoft Screening Solutions.
• Advise stakeholders on payment message types, fields, and screening scope.
• Interpret SWIFT MT messages and ISO 20022 messages for screening data elements.
• Configure matching algorithms, thresholds, safe lists, and fuzzy matching.
• Maintain sanctions watchlists and integrate with payment platforms (SWIFT, ISO 20022, Fedwire, ACH, CHIPS).
• Design and execute functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Perform tuning to reduce false positives while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document governance artifacts.
• Lead workstreams through deployment and monitor risks and milestones.
• Recommend screening architecture improvements and alert handling enhancements.
